Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to The Drop. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of The Drop platform, located at enterthedrop.com, including any mobile-optimised versions, subdomains, and associated services. The platform is owned and operated by The Drop.

By creating an account, registering for a session, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use the platform.

Definitions

Eligibility and Account Registration

To create an account, you must be at least 16 years of age. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your profile updated. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password or third-party login tokens. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.

Guest Profiles and Shadow Accounts

The platform allows Club Admins to create temporary placeholder profiles, known as shadow accounts, to track rosters, waitlists, and historical attendance for walk-in players. If a Club Admin has created a shadow account under your email or phone number, you may claim that profile and its historical data by completing the standard platform registration or signing in via Google OAuth. Once claimed, the profile transitions into a standard user account subject to these terms.

Session Bookings, Fees, and Payments

Clubs use the platform to organise sessions and track payment statuses. The platform acts as a tracking tool for ledger management.

Platform Credits and Wallet Balances

Clubs may issue or accept electronic credits, such as club credits or drop credits, as an alternative method for session settlement.

• -Credits are club-specific and are managed to prevent overdraft balances.
• -Credits hold no cash value outside the respective club that issued them and cannot be redeemed for real currency from the platform.
• -The processing of refunds, credit issuance for rained-out events, and manual balance adjustments remains at the absolute discretion of the respective Club Admin managing that specific event or venue.

User Conduct and Integrity of Data

You agree to use the platform in a lawful and respectful manner. When participating in matching pools, tracking match history, or completing profiles, you must not:

• -Provide fraudulent, inaccurate, or intentionally inflated rating information, including DUPR data or skill levels.
• -Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state your affiliation with a club or sport organisation.
• -Attempt to bypass transactional safeguards or exploit system concurrency in a manner that undermines the integrity of ledger balances, session rosters, or other users' data.

Intellectual Property and User Content

The Drop retains all rights to the platform, its design, codebase, and related materials. You retain ownership of any content you upload to the platform, including profile images and club media. By uploading content, you grant The Drop a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and reproduce that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform. This licence terminates when you delete the content or request account deletion. You must not upload content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party.

Disclaimers and No Warranties

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Drop explicitly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. This includes, but is not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

The Drop makes no warranty that the platform will meet your requirements, that service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that data losses will not occur due to network failures or database issues. Your use of the platform is entirely at your own risk.

Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the platform or any feature of it at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or to any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall The Drop, its founders, directors, employees, or service providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This limitation covers, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of use, loss of goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• -Your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the platform.
• -Any conduct, data alteration, or content of any third party or Club Admin on the platform.
• -Unauthorised access, use, or alteration of your profile, transactional balances, or player data.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Drop and its service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to your violation of these terms or your misuse of the platform.

Account Termination

We reserve the right, with or without prior notice and at our reasonable discretion, to terminate or suspend your account or your access to the platform for any reason, including any breach of these terms, fraud, or behaviour that threatens the security and data integrity of other users or clubs. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us, which will result in the permanent removal of your identifying data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These terms and any dispute arising out of or related to your use of the platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Trinidad and Tobago, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law provisions.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise and update these Terms of Use from time to time at our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them. Your continued use of the platform following the posting of revised terms means that you accept and agree to the updates.
