Requesting a Coaching Lesson

Browse coaches and their open availability, request a lesson slot, and message your coach once it's booked.

Overview

The Coaching hub lists coaches and their open availability. Booking a lesson is a request-and-accept flow, not an instant booking.

Finding a coach and their availability

Each coach's listing shows their description, whether they're in-house or an affiliate coach, and their rates. Their open, unbooked availability slots appear on the shared booking calendar.

Requesting a lesson

  1. 1Pick an open slot on a coach's calendar.
  2. 2Add an optional note for the coach about what you'd like to work on.
  3. 3Submit the request. It stays pending until the coach responds.

Note

If a slot is tied to a specific club court, that court is only held for you once the coach accepts your request, not the moment you request it.

After you request

The coach can accept or decline. Accepting your request automatically declines any other pending requests for that same slot. Once booked, you and the coach can message each other on that lesson's own thread, and either of you can cancel it if plans change.

Important

Repeated no-shows with a coach can pause your ability to book them again, per that coach's own no-show policy.

Joining a coach's client list

Separately from booking a single lesson, you can ask to join a coach's client list from their profile page. Some coaches accept requests automatically; others review them first, so your request may sit as pending for a while before they respond.

Being on a coach's client list can unlock slots marked Clients Only on their calendar, which everyone can see but only that coach's own clients can book. It can also mean a discounted or custom rate the coach has agreed with you. For a lesson on a club court, that rate is recorded as the agreed price when the coach accepts your request, always at the 1-player price; a lesson anywhere else records no price at all. What you actually pay is recorded separately in either case.

You can leave a coach's client list at any time from their profile page. Leaving does not affect any lesson you already have booked or any balance you owe them.

Note

What a coach keeps about you as a client, your rates, any session packs, your balance with them and their own notes, is private from clubs and from other members. Platform staff can access these records for support and safety, and every such access is logged.
